Refund Policy

Overview

5str.io offers subscription-based plans billed on a monthly or annual basis. Because our service provides immediate access to digital features upon payment, we generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. However, we want our customers to be satisfied, and we review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

1. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.
  • When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date.
  • After your billing period ends, your account will revert to the free tier. Your data is not deleted upon downgrade.

2. Refund Eligibility

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscription charges are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will investigate.

Annual Subscriptions

If you cancel an annual subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase and have not made significant use of the Service (e.g., created landing pages or sent solicitations), we will issue a full refund. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the remaining term.

Exceptions

We will consider refund requests outside of the above guidelines in the following circumstances:

  • You experienced a verified technical issue on our end that prevented you from using the Service and we were unable to resolve it.
  • You were charged an incorrect amount due to a billing error.
  • Other extenuating circumstances, reviewed at our sole discretion.

3. Free Trial

If 5str.io offers a free trial period, you will not be charged until the trial ends. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charges. No refund is needed for a free trial that was cancelled in time.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at [YOUR EMAIL] with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:

  • Your account email address
  • The date and amount of the charge
  • The reason for your request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

5. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to reach out to us directly — we are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and promptly.
